Psychotherapy

What is Psychotherapy?

  • Behavioural therapy is a discipline of psychotherapy.
  • The starting point is the exact consideration (analysis) of the situation, behaviour, feelings and thoughts currently , being, experienced, in order to understand, how the problem has arisen. The central assumption is that , we humans have learned a lot and will continue to learn throughout our lives, i.e.. we can also unlearn things and learn newer, , more appropriate - ways of thinking and behaving. This then also influences our psychological experience and our further development.
  • The therapist sees herself as a support for self-help.
  • Depending on the age,, problem and individual preferences, different methods are used.. With children, play is often the central medium of communication- and change, and is then increasingly replaced with elements of conversation as they grow older..

For whom is Psychotherapy??

For children, adolescents and families experiencing a variety of difficulties. Generally,, children, adolescents and their families outline problems in kindergarten, school, within the family itself, with other people as well as their own personal issues.. They often talk about conflicts, difficulties making friends, concentration problems, learning difficulties, stressful experiences and strong feelings, such as. anger, fear, low self-confidence, sadness, stress or feeling different.
